The cross-border and European class projects proposed in this section extend over an entire school year; cooperation is established between two, three or more classes in the Greater Region requiring regular work created and posted throughout the school year on our media and digital social networks, as well as in one or multiple in-person meetings.
The approaches developed within the framework of this program make use of difference, taking different conceptions, ideas, values ââand behaviors as a starting point, in order to reach common ground with the creation of a common production by pupils involved in the class projects.
The history of our Greater Region has seen many confrontations and successive waves of immigration, so that the "little Europe of ours" has become populated by people from very diverse cultures and backgrounds.
This makes life in the Greater Region more interesting and exciting, but also more complicated. Moreover, it is a 21st century reality faced by students living in multicultural societies.
Unfortunately, the differences between regions and individuals are not always perceived as an asset and they frequently lead to suspicion, violence or rejection.

The main challenge of class projects and educational outings is to help pupils discover how to live and interact with these differences in a creative way.
