Robert Schuman European Centre - CERS
The development of educational materials and methods takes place directly or within the various networks to which CERS belongs. The Center is piloting an interregional program for the production of cross-border didactic materials from the Greater Region Saar-Lor-Lux–Rhineland-Palatinate–Wallonia–French, and the german-speaking communities of Belgium (PIMT), in which educators from six European school systems participate.
For the design of its teaching tools and information media, CERS relies directly on:
- the results of the various "Eurobarometers" published by the European Commission,
-the reference frame of compentencies for a Democracy culture published by the Council of Europe
-the work and publications of European think tanks and research centers
-university research
-the scientific approach resulting from the work of the Council of Europe in the field of history teaching: meaning moving away from the purely national perspectives of the history of European integration, in favor of a multiplicity of interwoven narratives.
Our educational tools can be downloaded from the dedicated tab of this site. You can use them freely in your activities and even modify certain media to adapt them to your target audience in compliance with the licenses provided.
